Calling all Tokyo-based creatives interested in comics and visual storytelling! Julia Nascimento, Hengtee Lim from Everyst, and the Canvas Tokyo team (www.canvas.co.com) invite you to join us for an evening of story sharing, storytelling, and meeting new people!
The theme of our 6th event is "comic sharing," and we're inviting attendees to bring comics for sharing and showing! If you have a comic you love or a comic you made and you want to share it, we want to see it! We’ll also be bringing some comics in need of new homes, so if you have any comics you want to give away, please think of the event as much a comic-swap as it is a comic-share!
We'll also make time during the event to highlight upcoming visual storytelling events this year (Kaigai Manga Festa, Comic Art Tokyo, as well as events outside of Tokyo), of which we've tabled at first hand, so if you have any questions or are looking for advice on attending or participating, let us know. We'd be happy to help.
As always, the last half of the evening will be dedicated to networking, conversation, and collaboration, so be sure to bring a portfolio if you have one you'd like to share!
Admission is free but space is limited to 20, so only sign up if you’re sure you can attend! If you discover you will not be able to attend for some reason, please ensure you update your RSVP so your place can be given to someone in the waitlist.
We’re looking forward to seeing you!
